About Match Point Pickleball

Hi! We’re Rob and MJ, the husband-and-wife team behind Match Point Pickleball. Our pickleball journey started in 2022, when we stumbled onto the game the same way many people do—through friends who insisted we’d love it. They were right. From our very first rally, we were hooked.

What began as a fun weeknight activity quickly grew into something much bigger. We found ourselves spending every free moment on the courts—playing in rec sessions, drilling to improve our skills, joining tournaments, and meeting some of the most welcoming and passionate people we’ve ever known. Pickleball became more than a sport for us; it became a community, a lifestyle, and a shared passion that strengthened our bond as a couple.

As we became more involved, we noticed a gap in the kind of apparel and gear we wanted to wear something stylish, comfortable, performance-ready, and inspired by the energy of the game. So we decided to create it ourselves. That idea became Match Point Pickleball, a brand built on authenticity, enthusiasm, and our genuine love for pickleball.

Our vision is to design high-quality apparel and accessories that players can feel confident wearing whether they’re stepping onto the court for their first lesson or competing for gold. Every piece we create is influenced by our own experiences playing, teaching, and engaging with the pickleball community.

But Match Point Pickleball is more than just a brand. It’s our way of giving back to the sport that changed our lives. We’re committed to promoting pickleball at the local level, supporting players of all skill levels, and bringing people together through leagues, tournaments, rec play, and pickup sessions. We’re always excited to introduce new players to the sport and help grow this game we love so much.
